Psalms Chapter 30 תְּהִלִּים

א מִזְמוֹר: שִׁיר-חֲנֻכַּת הַבַּיִת לְדָוִד.	1 A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House; of David.
ב אֲרוֹמִמְךָ יְהוָה, כִּי דִלִּיתָנִי; וְלֹא-שִׂמַּחְתָּ אֹיְבַי לִי.	2 I will extol thee, O LORD, for Thou hast raised me up, and hast not suffered mine enemies to rejoice over me.
ג יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי-- שִׁוַּעְתִּי אֵלֶיךָ, וַתִּרְפָּאֵנִי.	3 O LORD my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou didst heal me;
ד יְהוָה--הֶעֱלִיתָ מִן-שְׁאוֹל נַפְשִׁי; חִיִּיתַנִי, מיורדי- (מִיָּרְדִי-) בוֹר.	4 O LORD, Thou broughtest up my soul from the nether-world; Thou didst keep me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
ה זַמְּרוּ לַיהוָה חֲסִידָיו; וְהוֹדוּ, לְזֵכֶר קָדְשׁוֹ.	5 Sing praise unto the LORD, O ye His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name.
ו כִּי רֶגַע, בְּאַפּוֹ-- חַיִּים בִּרְצוֹנוֹ: בָּעֶרֶב, יָלִין בֶּכִי; וְלַבֹּקֶר רִנָּה.	6 For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for a life-time; {N} weeping may tarry for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.
ז וַאֲנִי, אָמַרְתִּי בְשַׁלְוִי-- בַּל-אֶמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם.	7 Now I had said in my security: 'I shall never be moved.'
ח יְהוָה-- בִּרְצוֹנְךָ, הֶעֱמַדְתָּה לְהַרְרִי-עֹז: הִסְתַּרְתָּ פָנֶיךָ; הָיִיתִי נִבְהָל.	8 Thou hadst established, O LORD, in Thy favour my mountain as a stronghold-- {N} Thou didst hide Thy face; I was affrighted.
ט אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֶקְרָא; וְאֶל-אֲדֹנָי, אֶתְחַנָּן.	9 Unto Thee, O LORD, did I call, and unto the LORD I made supplication:
י מַה-בֶּצַע בְּדָמִי, בְּרִדְתִּי אֶל-שָׁחַת: הֲיוֹדְךָ עָפָר; הֲיַגִּיד אֲמִתֶּךָ.	10 'What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? {N} Shall the dust praise Thee? shall it declare Thy truth?
יא שְׁמַע-יְהוָה וְחָנֵּנִי; יְהוָה, הֱיֵה-עֹזֵר לִי.	11 Hear, O LORD, and be gracious unto me; LORD, be Thou my helper.'
יב הָפַכְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי, לְמָחוֹל לִי: פִּתַּחְתָּ שַׂקִּי; וַתְּאַזְּרֵנִי שִׂמְחָה.	12 Thou didst turn for me my mourning into dancing; Thou didst loose my sackcloth, and gird me with gladness;
יג לְמַעַן, יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוֹד-- וְלֹא יִדֹּם: יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי, לְעוֹלָם אוֹדֶךָּ.	13 So that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent; {N} O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever. {P}

א מִזְמוֹר לְתוֹדָה: הָרִיעוּ לַיהוָה, כָּל-הָאָרֶץ.	1 A Psalm of thanksgiving. Shout unto the LORD, all the earth.
ב עִבְדוּ אֶת-יְהוָה בְּשִׂמְחָה; בֹּאוּ לְפָנָיו, בִּרְנָנָה.	2 Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
ג דְּעוּ-- כִּי יְהוָה, הוּא אֱלֹהִים: הוּא-עָשָׂנוּ, ולא (וְלוֹ) אֲנַחְנוּ-- עַמּוֹ, וְצֹאן מַרְעִיתוֹ.	3 Know ye that the LORD He is God; {N} it is He that hath made us, and we are His, His people, and the flock of His pasture.
ד בֹּאוּ שְׁעָרָיו, בְּתוֹדָה--חֲצֵרֹתָיו בִּתְהִלָּה; הוֹדוּ-לוֹ, בָּרְכוּ שְׁמוֹ.	4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks unto Him, and bless His name.
ה כִּי-טוֹב יְהוָה, לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ; וְעַד-דֹּר וָדֹר, אֱמוּנָתוֹ.	5 For the LORD is good; His mercy endureth for ever; and His faithfulness unto all generations. {P}

V'hi ch'vod pg 31 nusach ari

יְהִי כְבוד ה' לְעולָם. יִשמַח ה' בְּמַעֲשיו:
May the glory of G-d endure forever; may G-d rejoice in His works

יְהִי שֵׁם ה' מְברָךְ. מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עולָם:
May the name of G-d be blessed from now and to all eternity

מִמִּזְרַח שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד מְבואו. מְהֻלָּל שֵׁם ה':
From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised

רָם עַל כָּל גּויִם ה'. עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּבודו:
High above all the nations is Adonay; His glory is over the heavens

ה' שִׁמְךָ לְעולָם. ה' זִכְרְךָ לְדור וָדור:
Your name O G-d is forever; You remembrance throughout all generations

ה' בַּשָׁמַיִם הֵכִין כִּסְאו. וּמַלְכוּתו בַּכּל מָשָׁלָה:
G-d established his throne in the heavens, (yet) His kingship has dominion over all.

יִשמְחוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵל הָאָרֶץ. וְיאמְרוּ בַגּויִם ה' מָלָךְ:
The heavens will rejoice, the earth exalt, and they wil proclaim amog the nations, "G-d reigns"

ה' מֶלֶךְ. ה' מָלָךְ. ה' יִמְלךְ לְעולָם וָעֶד:
G-d is king, G-d was king, G-d will be king for all eternity

ה' מֶלֶךְ עולָם וָעֶד. אָבְדוּ גויִם מֵאַרְצו:
G-d reigns eternally, when the nations will have perished from His land . G-d annulled the plans of nations;

ה' הֵפִיר עֲצַת גּויִם. הֵנִיא מַחְשְׁבות עַמִּים:
רַבּות מַחֲשָׁבות בְּלֶב אִישׁ. וַעֲצַת ה' הִיא תָקוּם:

He has foiled the schemes of peoples. Many ideas are in the heart of man, but it is G-d's plan that endures.

עֲצַת ה' לְעולָם תַּעֲמד. מַחְשְׁבות לִבּו לְדר וָדר:

G-d's plan will stand forever, the intent of His Heart for all generations.
כִּי הוּא אָמַר וַיֶּהִי. הוּא צִוָּה וַיַּעֲמד:
For He spoke and it came to be, He comanded and it stood firm

כִּי בָחַר ה' בְּצִיּון. אִוָּהּ לְמושָׁב לו:
For G-d has chosen Zion; He desired it as His dwelling place.

כִּי יַעֲקב בָּחַר לו יָהּ. יִשרָאֵל לִסְגֻלָּתו:
For G-d chose Yaakov to be His, Israel as His precious treasure.

כִּי לא יִטּשׁ ה' עַמּו. וְנַחֲלָתו לא יַעֲזב:
וְהוּא רַחוּם יְכַפֵּר עָון וְלא יַשְׁחִית.

For G-d wil not forsake His people, nor abandon His heritage. And he, being merciful, will pardon iniquity and will not destroy;
וְהִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁיב אַפּו. וְלא יָעִיר כָּל חֲמָתו:

He repeatedly turns away His anger and does not arouse all His wrath.
ה' הושִׁיעָה. הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיום קָרְאֵנוּ:

G-d, bring deliverance ; the King shall anwser us on the day we call.

א תְּהִלָּה, לְדָוִד: אֲרוֹמִמְךָ אֱלוֹהַי הַמֶּלֶךְ; וַאֲבָרְכָה שִׁמְךָ, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.	1 [A Psalm of] praise; of David. {N} I will extol Thee, my God, O King; and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.

ו וֶעֱזוּז נוֹרְאֹתֶיךָ יֹאמֵרוּ; וגדלותיך (וּגְדֻלָּתְךָ) אֲסַפְּרֶנָּה.	6 And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; and I will tell of Thy greatness.
ז זֵכֶר רַב-טוּבְךָ יַבִּיעוּ; וְצִדְקָתְךָ יְרַנֵּנוּ.	7 They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, and shall sing of Thy righteousness.
ח חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם יְהוָה; אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם, וּגְדָל-חָסֶד.	8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
ט טוֹב-יְהוָה לַכֹּל; וְרַחֲמָיו, עַל-כָּל-מַעֲשָׂיו.	9 The LORD is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
י יוֹדוּךָ יְהוָה, כָּל-מַעֲשֶׂיךָ; וַחֲסִידֶיךָ, יְבָרְכוּכָה.	10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; and Thy saints shall bless Thee.
יא כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתְךָ יֹאמֵרוּ; וּגְבוּרָתְךָ יְדַבֵּרוּ.	11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy might;
יב לְהוֹדִיעַ, לִבְנֵי הָאָדָם--גְּבוּרֹתָיו; וּכְבוֹד, הֲדַר מַלְכוּתוֹ.	12 To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.
יג מַלְכוּתְךָ, מַלְכוּת כָּל-עֹלָמִים; וּמֶמְשַׁלְתְּךָ, בְּכָל-דּוֹר וָדֹר.	13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
יד סוֹמֵךְ יְהוָה, לְכָל-הַנֹּפְלִים; וְזוֹקֵף, לְכָל-הַכְּפוּפִים.	14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
טו עֵינֵי-כֹל, אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ; וְאַתָּה נוֹתֵן-לָהֶם אֶת-אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ.	15 The eyes of all wait for Thee, and Thou givest them their food in due season.
טז פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת-יָדֶךָ; וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל-חַי רָצוֹן.	16 Thou openest Thy hand, and satisfiest every living thing with favour.

ג אַל-תִּבְטְחוּ בִנְדִיבִים-- בְּבֶן-אָדָם, שֶׁאֵין לוֹ תְשׁוּעָה.	3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

א הַלְלוּ-יָהּ: כִּי-טוֹב, זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ-- כִּי-נָעִים, נָאוָה תְהִלָּה.	1 Hallelujah; {N} for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
ב בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְהוָה; נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס.	2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;

ח הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם, בְּעָבִים-- הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר; הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר.	8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, {N} who maketh the mountains to spring with grass.
ט נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ; לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב, אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ.	9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
י לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ; לֹא-בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה.	10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse; He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
