בכל יום בבוקר קודם ברכת התורה יאמר זאת: הֲרֵינִי מְכַוֵּן מֵעַתָּה עַל כָּל פְּרָט וּפְרָט מִמַּעֲשי וְדִבּוּרַי וּמַחְשְׁבותַי שֶׁל כָּל הַיּום עַד לְמָחָר בָּעֵת הַזּאת לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קֻדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ בְּשֵׁם כָּל יִשרָאֵל לְהַכְרִיעַ אֶת עַצְמִי וְאֶת כָּל עַם בְּנֵי יִשרָאֵל וְאֶת כָּל הָעולָם לְכַף זְכוּת:

וּבַעַל הַכּחות כֻּלָם עִלַת כָּל הָעִילות וְסִיבַּת כָּל הַסִּיבּות וְשַׁלִיט בְּכָל הָעולָמות:

אֱלהַי. נְשָׁמָה שֶׁנָּתַתָּ בִּי טְהורָה הִיא. אַתָּה בְרָאתָהּ. אַתָּה יְצַרְתָּהּ. אַתָּה נְפַחְתָּהּ בִּי. וְאַתָּה מְשַׁמְּרָהּ בְּקִרְבִּי.
My G-d, the soul that you placed within me is pure, You created it, You formed it, You blew it into me
וְאַתָּה עָתִיד לִטְּלָהּ מִמֶּנִּי. וּלְהַחֲזִירָהּ בִּי לֶעָתִיד לָבוא. כָּל זְמַן שֶׁהַנְּשָׁמָה בְּקִרְבִּי מודֶה אֲנִי לְפָנֶיךָ ה' אֱלהַי וֵאלהֵי אֲבותַי. רִבּון כָּל הַמַּעֲשים אֲדון כָּל הַנְּשָׁמות:
and You protet it inside me. And you will evenutually take it from me and restore it to me in the time to come. So long as the soul is withing me, I offer thanks to You, G-d my G-d and G-d of my fathers, Master of all works, Lord of all souls.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' הַמַּחֲזִיר נְשָׁמות לִפְגָרִים מֵתִים:
Blessed are You G-d who restores souls to dead bodies.

חֵטְא. וְלא לִידֵי עֲבֵרָה וְעָון. וְלא לִידֵי נִסָּיון. וְלא לִידֵי בִזָּיון. וְאַל תַּשְׁלֶט בָּנוּ יֵצֶר הָרָע. וְהַרְחִיקֵנוּ מֵאָדָם רָע
into sin, nor to transgression or iniquity, nor to temptation or; let not the evil inclination have mastery over us
Distance us from an evil person.
וּמֵחָבֵר רָע. וְדַבְּקֵנוּ בְּיֵצֶר הַטוב וּבְמַעֲשים טובִים. וְכף אֶת יִצְרֵנוּ לְהִשְׁתַּעְבֶּד לָךְ. וּתְנֵנוּ הַיּום וּבְכָל יום לְחֵן
and a bad companion. and make us cling to the good inclination and to good deeds and press upon our inclination to submit to You;
Grant us today and everyday grace, kindness
וּלְחֶסֶד וּלְרַחֲמִים בְּעֵינֶיךָ וּבְעֵינֵי כָל רואֵינוּ. וְתִגְמְלֵנוּ חֲסָדִים טובִים:
and mercy, in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us, and bestow beneficent kindneses upon His people Israel
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' הַגּומֵל חֲסָדִים טובִים לְעַמּו יִשרָאֵל:

May it be Your will, G-d my G-d, and G-d of my fathers, that you rescue me today, and every day, from brazen men, and from insolence, from and evil person
וּמֵחָבֵר רָע. וּמִשָּׁכֵן רָע. וּמִפֶּגַע רָע. וּמִשּטָן הַמַּשְׁחִית. מִדִּין קָשֶׁה וּמִבַּעַל דִּין קָשֶׁה. בֵּין שֶׁהוּא בֶן בְּרִית וּבֵין שֶׁאֵינו בֶן בְּרִית:
and from a bad companion. from an evil neighbor, and from an evil mishap, from and evil eye, from a malicious toungue, from slander, from false testimony, from hatred of men, from defamaory charges, from an unnatural death, from chronic deseases, and from misfortune, from the destructive prosecutor, from a harsh judgement and from a relentles opponent, whether he is a member of the Covenant or not; and from the retribution of Gehinom.

Blessed are You, G-d our G-d, King of the universe, who sanctified us with His commandments, and comanded us regarding the words of the Torah.
וְהַעֲרֶב נָא ה' אֱלהֵינוּ אֶת דִּבְרֵי תורָתְךָ בְּפִינוּ וּבְפִיּות עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשרָאֵל. וְנִהְיֶה אֲנַחְנוּ וְצֶאֱצָאֵינוּ. (וְצֶאֱצָאֵי

1. And it came to pass after these things, that God tested Abraham, and He said to him, "Abraham," and he said, "Here I am."		א. וַיְהִי אַחַר הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְהָאֱלֹהִים נִסָּה אֶת אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּנִי:
2. And He said, "Please take your son, your only one, whom you love, yea, Isaac, and go away to the land of Moriah and bring him up there for a burnt offering on one of the mountains, of which I will tell you."		ב. וַיֹּאמֶר קַח נָא אֶת בִּנְךָ אֶת יְחִידְךָ אֲשֶׁר אָהַבְתָּ אֶת יִצְחָק וְלֶךְ לְךָ אֶל אֶרֶץ הַמֹּרִיָּה וְהַעֲלֵהוּ שָׁם לְעֹלָה עַל אַחַד הֶהָרִים אֲשֶׁר אֹמַר אֵלֶיךָ:
3. And Abraham arose early in the morning, and he saddled his donkey, and he took his two young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split wood for a burnt offering, and he arose and went to the place of which God had told him.		ג. וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם בַּבֹּקֶר וַיַּחֲבֹשׁ אֶת חֲמֹרוֹ וַיִּקַּח אֶת שְׁנֵי נְעָרָיו אִתּוֹ וְאֵת יִצְחָק בְּנוֹ וַיְבַקַּע עֲצֵי עֹלָה וַיָּקָם וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אָמַר לוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים:
4. On the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.		ד. בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי וַיִּשָּׂא אַבְרָהָם אֶת עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא אֶת הַמָּקוֹם מֵרָחֹק:
5. And Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go yonder, and we will prostrate ourselves and return to you."		ה. וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אֶל נְעָרָיו שְׁבוּ לָכֶם פֹּה עִם הַחֲמוֹר וַאֲנִי וְהַנַּעַר נֵלְכָה עַד כֹּה וְנִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה וְנָשׁוּבָה אֲלֵיכֶם:
6. And Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering, and he placed [it] upon his son Isaac, and he took into his hand the fire and the knife, and they both went together.		ו. וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָהָם אֶת עֲצֵי הָעֹלָה וַיָּשֶׂם עַל יִצְחָק בְּנוֹ וַיִּקַּח בְּיָדוֹ אֶת הָאֵשׁ וְאֶת הַמַּאֲכֶלֶת וַיֵּלְכוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם יַחְדָּו:
7. And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and he said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?"		ז. וַיֹּאמֶר יִצְחָק אֶל אַבְרָהָם אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר אָבִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֶּנִּי בְנִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה הָאֵשׁ וְהָעֵצִים וְאַיֵּה הַשֶּׂה לְעֹלָה:
8. And Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And they both went together.		ח. וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אֱלֹהִים יִרְאֶה לּוֹ הַשֶּׂה לְעֹלָה בְּנִי וַיֵּלְכוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם יַחְדָּו:
9. And they came to the place of which God had spoken to him, and Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood, and he bound Isaac his son and placed him on the altar upon the wood.		ט. וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אָמַר לוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים וַיִּבֶן שָׁם אַבְרָהָם אֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיַּעֲרֹךְ אֶת הָעֵצִים וַיַּעֲקֹד אֶת יִצְחָק בְּנוֹ וַיָּשֶׂם אֹתוֹ עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ מִמַּעַל לָעֵצִים:
10. And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took the knife, to slaughter his son.		י. וַיִּשְׁלַח אַבְרָהָם אֶת יָדוֹ וַיִּקַּח אֶת הַמַּאֲכֶלֶת לִשְׁחֹט אֶת בְּנוֹ:
11. And an angel of God called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham! Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."		יא. וַיִּקְרָא אֵלָיו מַלְאַךְ יְהֹוָה מִן הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּנִי:
12. And he said, "Do not stretch forth your hand to the lad, nor do the slightest thing to him, for now I know that you are a God fearing man, and you did not withhold your son, your only one, from Me."		יב. וַיֹּאמֶר אַל תִּשְׁלַח יָדְךָ אֶל הַנַּעַר וְאַל תַּעַשׂ לוֹ מְאוּמָה כִּי עַתָּה יָדַעְתִּי כִּי יְרֵא אֱלֹהִים אַתָּה וְלֹא חָשַׂכְתָּ אֶת בִּנְךָ אֶת יְחִידְךָ מִמֶּנִּי:
13. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and he saw, and lo! there was a ram, [and] after [that] it was caught in a tree by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.		יג. וַיִּשָּׂא אַבְרָהָם אֶת עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא וְהִנֵּה אַיִל אַחַר נֶאֱחַז בַּסְּבַךְ בְּקַרְנָיו וַיֵּלֶךְ אַבְרָהָם וַיִּקַּח אֶת הָאַיִל וַיַּעֲלֵהוּ לְעֹלָה תַּחַת בְּנוֹ:
14. And Abraham named that place, The Lord will see, as it is said to this day: On the mountain, the Lord will be seen.		יד. וַיִּקְרָא אַבְרָהָם שֵׁם הַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא יְהֹוָה יִרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר יֵאָמֵר הַיּוֹם בְּהַר יְהֹוָה יֵרָאֶה:
15. And an angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven.		טו. וַיִּקְרָא מַלְאַךְ יְהֹוָה אֶל אַבְרָהָם שֵׁנִית מִן הַשָּׁמָיִם:
16. And he said, "By Myself have I sworn, says the Lord, that because you have done this thing and you did not withhold your son, your only one,		טז. וַיֹּאמֶר בִּי נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי נְאֻם יְהֹוָה כִּי יַעַן אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ אֶת הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה וְלֹא חָשַׂכְתָּ אֶת בִּנְךָ אֶת יְחִידֶךָ:
17. That I will surely bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand that is on the seashore, and your descendants will inherit the cities of their enemies.		יז. כִּי בָרֵךְ אֲבָרֶכְךָ וְהַרְבָּה אַרְבֶּה אֶת זַרְעֲךָ כְּכוֹכְבֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם וְכַחוֹל אֲשֶׁר עַל שְׂפַת הַיָּם וְיִרַשׁ זַרְעֲךָ אֵת שַׁעַר אֹיְבָיו:
18. And through your children shall be blessed all the nations of the world, because you hearkened to My voice."		יח. וְהִתְבָּרֲכוּ בְזַרְעֲךָ כֹּל גּוֹיֵי הָאָרֶץ עֵקֶב אֲשֶׁר שָׁמַעְתָּ בְּקֹלִי:

Psalms Chapter 30 תְּהִלִּים

א מִזְמוֹר: שִׁיר-חֲנֻכַּת הַבַּיִת לְדָוִד.	1 A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House; of David.
ב אֲרוֹמִמְךָ יְהוָה, כִּי דִלִּיתָנִי; וְלֹא-שִׂמַּחְתָּ אֹיְבַי לִי.	2 I will extol thee, O LORD, for Thou hast raised me up, and hast not suffered mine enemies to rejoice over me.
ג יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי-- שִׁוַּעְתִּי אֵלֶיךָ, וַתִּרְפָּאֵנִי.	3 O LORD my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou didst heal me;
ד יְהוָה--הֶעֱלִיתָ מִן-שְׁאוֹל נַפְשִׁי; חִיִּיתַנִי, מיורדי- (מִיָּרְדִי-) בוֹר.	4 O LORD, Thou broughtest up my soul from the nether-world; Thou didst keep me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
ה זַמְּרוּ לַיהוָה חֲסִידָיו; וְהוֹדוּ, לְזֵכֶר קָדְשׁוֹ.	5 Sing praise unto the LORD, O ye His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name.
ו כִּי רֶגַע, בְּאַפּוֹ-- חַיִּים בִּרְצוֹנוֹ: בָּעֶרֶב, יָלִין בֶּכִי; וְלַבֹּקֶר רִנָּה.	6 For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for a life-time; {N} weeping may tarry for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.
ז וַאֲנִי, אָמַרְתִּי בְשַׁלְוִי-- בַּל-אֶמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם.	7 Now I had said in my security: 'I shall never be moved.'
ח יְהוָה-- בִּרְצוֹנְךָ, הֶעֱמַדְתָּה לְהַרְרִי-עֹז: הִסְתַּרְתָּ פָנֶיךָ; הָיִיתִי נִבְהָל.	8 Thou hadst established, O LORD, in Thy favour my mountain as a stronghold-- {N} Thou didst hide Thy face; I was affrighted.
ט אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֶקְרָא; וְאֶל-אֲדֹנָי, אֶתְחַנָּן.	9 Unto Thee, O LORD, did I call, and unto the LORD I made supplication:
י מַה-בֶּצַע בְּדָמִי, בְּרִדְתִּי אֶל-שָׁחַת: הֲיוֹדְךָ עָפָר; הֲיַגִּיד אֲמִתֶּךָ.	10 'What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? {N} Shall the dust praise Thee? shall it declare Thy truth?
יא שְׁמַע-יְהוָה וְחָנֵּנִי; יְהוָה, הֱיֵה-עֹזֵר לִי.	11 Hear, O LORD, and be gracious unto me; LORD, be Thou my helper.'
יב הָפַכְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי, לְמָחוֹל לִי: פִּתַּחְתָּ שַׂקִּי; וַתְּאַזְּרֵנִי שִׂמְחָה.	12 Thou didst turn for me my mourning into dancing; Thou didst loose my sackcloth, and gird me with gladness;
יג לְמַעַן, יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוֹד-- וְלֹא יִדֹּם: יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי, לְעוֹלָם אוֹדֶךָּ.	13 So that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent; {N} O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever. {P}

א מִזְמוֹר לְתוֹדָה: הָרִיעוּ לַיהוָה, כָּל-הָאָרֶץ.	1 A Psalm of thanksgiving. Shout unto the LORD, all the earth.
ב עִבְדוּ אֶת-יְהוָה בְּשִׂמְחָה; בֹּאוּ לְפָנָיו, בִּרְנָנָה.	2 Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
ג דְּעוּ-- כִּי יְהוָה, הוּא אֱלֹהִים: הוּא-עָשָׂנוּ, ולא (וְלוֹ) אֲנַחְנוּ-- עַמּוֹ, וְצֹאן מַרְעִיתוֹ.	3 Know ye that the LORD He is God; {N} it is He that hath made us, and we are His, His people, and the flock of His pasture.

יְהִי כְבוד ה' לְעולָם. יִשמַח ה' בְּמַעֲשיו:
May the glory of G-d endure forever; may G-d rejoice in His works

יְהִי שֵׁם ה' מְברָךְ. מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עולָם:
May the name of G-d be blessed from now and to all eternity

מִמִּזְרַח שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד מְבואו. מְהֻלָּל שֵׁם ה':
From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised

רָם עַל כָּל גּויִם ה'. עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּבודו:
High above all the nations is Adonay; His glory is over the heavens

ה' שִׁמְךָ לְעולָם. ה' זִכְרְךָ לְדור וָדור:
Your name O G-d is forever; You remembrance throughout all generations

ה' בַּשָׁמַיִם הֵכִין כִּסְאו. וּמַלְכוּתו בַּכּל מָשָׁלָה:
G-d established his throne in the heavens, (yet) His kingship has dominion over all.

יִשמְחוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵל הָאָרֶץ. וְיאמְרוּ בַגּויִם ה' מָלָךְ:
The heavens will rejoice, the earth exalt, and they wil proclaim amog the nations, "G-d reigns"

ה' מֶלֶךְ. ה' מָלָךְ. ה' יִמְלךְ לְעולָם וָעֶד:
G-d is king, G-d was king, G-d will be king for all eternity

ה' מֶלֶךְ עולָם וָעֶד. אָבְדוּ גויִם מֵאַרְצו:
G-d reigns eternally, when the nations will have perished from His land . G-d annulled the plans of nations;

ה' הֵפִיר עֲצַת גּויִם. הֵנִיא מַחְשְׁבות עַמִּים:
רַבּות מַחֲשָׁבות בְּלֶב אִישׁ. וַעֲצַת ה' הִיא תָקוּם:

He has foiled the schemes of peoples. Many ideas are in the heart of man, but it is G-d's plan that endures.

עֲצַת ה' לְעולָם תַּעֲמד. מַחְשְׁבות לִבּו לְדר וָדר:

G-d's plan will stand forever, the intent of His Heart for all generations.
כִּי הוּא אָמַר וַיֶּהִי. הוּא צִוָּה וַיַּעֲמד:
For He spoke and it came to be, He comanded and it stood firm

כִּי בָחַר ה' בְּצִיּון. אִוָּהּ לְמושָׁב לו:
For G-d has chosen Zion; He desired it as His dwelling place.

כִּי יַעֲקב בָּחַר לו יָהּ. יִשרָאֵל לִסְגֻלָּתו:
For G-d chose Yaakov to be His, Israel as His precious treasure.

כִּי לא יִטּשׁ ה' עַמּו. וְנַחֲלָתו לא יַעֲזב:
וְהוּא רַחוּם יְכַפֵּר עָון וְלא יַשְׁחִית.

For G-d wil not forsake His people, nor abandon His heritage. And he, being merciful, will pardon iniquity and will not destroy;
וְהִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁיב אַפּו. וְלא יָעִיר כָּל חֲמָתו:

He repeatedly turns away His anger and does not arouse all His wrath.
ה' הושִׁיעָה. הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיום קָרְאֵנוּ:

G-d, bring deliverance ; the King shall anwser us on the day we call.

יד סוֹמֵךְ יְהוָה, לְכָל-הַנֹּפְלִים; וְזוֹקֵף, לְכָל-הַכְּפוּפִים.	14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
טו עֵינֵי-כֹל, אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ; וְאַתָּה נוֹתֵן-לָהֶם אֶת-אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ.	15 The eyes of all wait for Thee, and Thou givest them their food in due season.
טז פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת-יָדֶךָ; וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל-חַי רָצוֹן.	16 Thou openest Thy hand, and satisfiest every living thing with favour.

א הַלְלוּ-יָהּ: כִּי-טוֹב, זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ-- כִּי-נָעִים, נָאוָה תְהִלָּה.	1 Hallelujah; {N} for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
ב בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְהוָה; נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס.	2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;

THE ALEINU - CONCLUSION OF FRIDAY NIGHT PRAYER

1	It is our duty to praise the Master of all,	Aleinu l'shabeach la'Adon hakol	עָלֵינוּ לְשַׁבֵּחַ לַאֲדוֹן הַכֹּל,
2	to ascribe greatness to the Author of creation,	latet gedulah l'yotzer b'reishit,	לָתֵת גְּדֻלָּה לְיוֹצֵר בְּרֵאשִׁית,
3	who has not made us like the nations of the lands	sh'lo asanu k'goyei ha'aratzot,	שֶׁלֹּא עָשָׂנוּ כְּגוֹיֵי הָאֲרָצוֹת,
4	nor placed us like the families of the earth;	v'lo samanu k'mish'p'chot ha'adamah,	וְלֹא שָׂמָנוּ כְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת הָאֲדָמָה.
5	who has not made our portion like theirs,	shelo sam chel'qenu kahem,	שֶׁלֹּא שָׂם חֶלְקֵנוּ כָּהֶם,
6	nor our destiny like all their multitudes.	v'goralenu k'khol hamonam.	.וְגוֹרָלֵנוּ כְּכָל הֲמוֹנָם

7	For they worship vanity and emptiness,	Sh'hem mish'tachavim l'hevel variq	שֶׁהֵם מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לְהֶבֶל וָרִיק,
8	and pray to a god who cannot save.	umit'pal'lim al el lo yoshia	וּמִתְפַּלְּלִים אֶל אֵל לֹא יוֹשִׁיעַ.
9	But we bow in worship and thank	Va'anachnu qor`im, umishtachavim umodim,	וַאֲנַחְנוּ כֹּרעִים ומִשְׁתַּחֲוִים ומוֹדים,
10	the Supreme King of kings,	lif'nei Melekh, Mal'khei haM'lakhim,	לִפְנֵי מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים
11	the Holy One, Blessed be He,	haQadosh barukh Hu.	הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא.
12	who extends the heavens and establishes the earth,	Shehu noteh shamayim, v'yosed aretz,	שֶׁהוּא נוֹטֶה שָׁמַיִם וְיֹסֵד אָרֶץ,
13	whose throne of glory is in the heavens above,	umoshav y'qaro bashamayim mima'al,	וּמוֹשַׁב יְקָרוֹ בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל,
14	and whose power's Presence is in the highest of heights.	ushkhinat uzo begav'hei m'romim,	וּשְׁכִינַת עֻזּוֹ בְּגָבְהֵי מְרוֹמִים.
15	He is our God; there is no other.	Hu Eloheinu ein od,	הוּא אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֵין עוֹד,
16	Truly He is our King, there is none else,	emet mal'kenu, efes zulato,	אֱמֶת מַלְכֵּנוּ אֶפֶס זוּלָתוֹ.
17	as it is written in His Torah:	kakatuv beTorato:	כַּכָּתוּב בְּתּוֹרָתוֹ:
18	"You shall know and take to heart this day	v'yada'ta hayom, vahashevota el l'vavekha.	וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּוֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ אֶל לְבָבֶךָ,
19	that the Lord is God,	Ki Adonai, hu haElohim,	כִּי יי הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים
20	in the heavens above	bashamayim mi ma`al,	בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל
